In whatway does overpopulation affect India's economy?
Economy
Overpopulation doesn’t only affect the environment. It also has an effect on the economy of India. As the population in India grows, it’s impossible to have the employment catch up to it. So the rate of unemployment in India is really high. Furthermore, there is a scarcity of resources and so there isn’t enough to feed to people nor are there enough for trade. And as last, food production and distribution can’t catch up to the rapid growth of the population and so, the costs of of production are increasing while the production itself decreases. The biggest problem of this all is the inflation. Inflation is the biggest consequence of overpopulation. So yes, overpopulation doesn’t only affect the environment. It also affects the economy of the country.
